Day 1: Elsen Tasarkhai & Nomadic Family Stay
Depart from Ulaanbaatar and drive to Elsen Tasarkhai, also known as the “Mini Gobi.” Here you will experience traditional Mongolian camel culture and enjoy camel riding. In the evening, stay overnight with a local nomadic family and experience their daily lifestyle. (L/D)
Day 2: Kharkhorin & Erdene Zuu Monastery – Drive to Khotont
Drive through Kharkhorin and visit the historic Erdene Zuu Monastery, one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia. Continue to Khotont soum in Arkhangai Province and stay overnight with a nomadic family. (B/L/D
Day 3: Nomadic Culture Experience in Khangai Region
Spend the day with a local herder family in the beautiful Khangai region, gaining deeper insight into Mongolia’s nomadic culture, traditions, and daily life. Overnight with the family. (B/L/D)
Day 4: Ugii Lake Relaxation
Travel to Ugii Lake and spend a relaxing day at a comfortable lakeside camp. Enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings and birdlife. Overnight at the camp. (B/L/D)
Day 5: Khar Bukh Balgas & Hustai National Park
Visit Khar Bukh Balgas, an ancient ruin from the Khitan Empire. Continue to Hustai National Park. Here, you will observe the rare and endangered Przewalski’s horse (Takhi horse) in its natural habitat and learn about the relationship between nomads and nature. Overnight near the park. (B/L/D)
Day 6: Return to Ulaanbaatar
